Facial Anatomy, Expresion & Moods

This drawing took roughly 10minutes to sketch, my aim was to get as much information onto the page in the time frame given.

Even though the image is not complete, looking at the drawing you can see the emotions portrayed, the use of pencil shading to pick out differences in light and dark areas works well here with the long fast strokes from the nose to the eye, you really get a sense of where the light is coming from.

The proportions were slightly off but the shadings masked some of this by going over the lines multiple times.

This image took roughly 2 minutes and was a quick sketch to take down complex information in a very short time frame as well as capturing raw emotion.

The sharp fast lines here really bring out the hate in the models eyes, using this technique can really bring the image to life and allow the view to feel the emotion trying to be portrayed.

This image took roughly 2 minutes to draw, the aim was to capture the blank expression on the models face

The shadows at the top of the head and cheek bones create the illusion of the light shining from below, The proportions of this image are off by a bit and could have been improved if the time frame wasn't so short but as the time was limited and the information was more important than being precise this suffered.
